What this page covers
Features explains the decisions, responsibilities, and practical details users need before choosing a workflow. We separate current capabilities from planned features, describe meaningful limits, and link to supporting policies so readers can make an informed choice.
Who this information is for
This guidance is written for individuals, educators, small teams, developers, and organizations evaluating PDFMaster Pro. Technical terms are introduced only when they help a reader understand a risk, requirement, or next action.
Our browser-first approach
Where a tool supports local processing, the selected file remains in the browser and is not uploaded to PDFMaster Pro. Optional account history stores tool names, counts, byte sizes, status, and timestamps—not file contents. Any future cloud workflow will be identified before processing begins.
Accuracy and limitations
Document results depend on source quality, fonts, encryption, browser memory, and format complexity. Users should inspect important outputs before sharing, printing, signing, or deleting an original. PDFMaster Pro does not represent an automated conversion as a substitute for professional review.
Security and responsible use
Use only files you own or are authorized to process. Keep browsers updated, use HTTPS, protect account credentials, and avoid shared devices for confidential work. Suspected vulnerabilities should be reported privately through the security contact process.
Accessibility and compatibility
Interfaces are designed for current desktop and mobile browsers with responsive layouts, semantic controls, keyboard operation, and visible status messages. Some large or complex workflows work best on a desktop device with adequate memory.
How we keep information current
Product and policy pages are reviewed when capabilities, providers, laws, or material business practices change. Release notes document shipped behavior; roadmap items remain proposals until they appear in a release.
Getting help
Start with the Help Center and troubleshooting guidance. If a problem remains, contact support with the tool name, browser version, approximate file size, and the displayed error. Do not send confidential source files unless support explicitly provides a secure method.
Evaluating the product
A useful product decision considers output quality, privacy, browser support, time saved, and the cost of correcting errors. Test representative documents, not only ideal samples, before standardizing a workflow.

Local file processing
Supported tools use browser APIs so source files can remain on the device. This reduces unnecessary transfers and shortens the path between selection and result. The interface identifies local behavior and does not send file content to activity history. Some future cloud capabilities may require transfer, but they must be presented as optional and explained before processing starts.
PDF organization workflows
PDF workflows include merging documents in a chosen order, editing and annotating pages, and extracting readable text into Word format. Each operation has different preservation limits. Merging should retain page content, annotation exports should be reviewed, and text extraction cannot recreate every layout or recognize image-only scans without OCR.
Fullscreen image workspace
The Image Editor provides a dedicated canvas with zoom, pan, crop, resize, rotation, flipping, compression comparison, history, and export. Native image dimensions remain the basis of the output while the viewport scales the preview. Users can compare size and quality, undo changes, and keep multiple images visible in a local filmstrip.
Format-aware validation
A file extension is only an initial clue. Tools validate the selected type and report unsupported, encrypted, damaged, or unreadable files where the underlying library exposes that information. Renaming a file does not convert it. Clear validation prevents a workflow from continuing with input that cannot produce a trustworthy result.
Progress and recovery
Longer operations communicate progress and keep download actions unavailable until an output exists. Undo, reset, cancel, and retry controls appear where the workflow supports them. Errors explain likely causes without exposing stack traces or confidential details. Users should be able to recover from a wrong setting without refreshing whenever practical.
Account history without file storage
Signed-in users can review tools used, action names, status, counts, byte sizes, and timestamps. History supports CSV export and deletion. Favorite tools provide quick access. Profile controls cover names, email, mobile metadata, passwords, and account deletion requests. Actual source and output files are deliberately absent from these records.
Authentication choices
Accounts support WordPress passwords plus optional email and mobile verification codes. OTPs are numeric, short-lived, hashed at rest, limited by cooldown and hourly request rules, and protected by an attempt limit. MSG91, Twilio, and Fast2SMS can be configured server-side. Social and Firebase options remain disabled until secure token verification is implemented.
Responsive cross-platform use
The interface adapts from desktop workspaces to narrower screens. Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari are the target browsers. Large PDFs and high-resolution images may exceed mobile memory, so desktop hardware is recommended for demanding jobs. Browser policies and content blockers can also affect downloads or third-party libraries.
Security and privacy controls
REST requests use nonces, administrative settings require capabilities, inputs are sanitized, output is escaped, and database operations use WordPress APIs or prepared queries. OTPs and network identifiers are hashed where appropriate. API credentials remain in server-side options and are never localized into frontend scripts. HTTPS and disciplined WordPress maintenance remain deployment requirements.
Guidance beside the product
A tool is easier to trust when users understand the source requirements, workflow, common failure modes, privacy behavior, and verification steps. PDFMaster Pro pairs utilities with help articles, FAQs, policy pages, release notes, and troubleshooting. Internal links connect a task to the next useful decision rather than repeating keywords for search engines.
Performance principles
Assets are local where practical, JavaScript is written without a runtime build requirement, and page-specific files load only where needed. Browser processing avoids a server round trip but still consumes local CPU and memory. Performance work therefore includes efficient rendering, bounded history, explicit file limits, and honest guidance for large workloads.
Designed for extension
The theme uses reusable templates, post types, taxonomies, metadata fields, REST endpoints, provider interfaces, and browser event conventions. New tools can inherit breadcrumbs, metadata, schema, related links, activity tracking, and editorial sections while still requiring unique instructions and verified capability details before publication.
